Niño Guillermo, Guillermito, Guillermo, Billy, Bill, William then back again to Guillermo.

Somewhere along the line another name morphs, Alfonso, Alphonso, Alphonzo, Alphoncius, then disappears, never having been there in the first place.

Is it a wonder I’m confused?
