Antojitos 2[1]
And it came to me that writing is like dreaming, a distillation of experiences. And I believed that both required source material, experiences, fuel consumed and digested to generate a product that hopefully resonates with meaning. And I resolved to live during the day and write at night, at least while I was not dreaming, and then I realized that dreams are also source materials for writing, twice distilled, like good brandy.
Then I realized that writer’s block is mental constipation. Too bad there are no good laxatives to cure it. Well, maybe there are, booze and other mood and mental state altering substances seem to work sometimes.
