A crouching black cat with a white smears here and there, frustrated by a now escaped, very providential canary, snarls and utters a sacred feline imprecation: “Suffering succotash”!
Surreptitiously watching on a silver screen (now in high definition color), a banged-up wily coyote snickers: “What a dope”!
In a neighboring suite, two mismatched avians, one very long and the other a mere fluttering puff of yellow feathers; one not very talkative but very fast, the other with a slight lisp, sip champagne from a birdbath, … chuckling. The little one whispers, sibilantly, “I tawt I taa a puttytat”! The tall one wisely observes: “Meep meep!”
We all need a break from time to time.
