Are Those Just Echoes I Hear?

And I asked myself: when did divinity attain sentience? And the answer is, of course, when it attained divinity.

But was that before or after the birth of time and space, the twin cogenitors?

Unlike classical and traditional religionists, I believe it came later, much later, and in stages, and perhaps even in levels, in which case, each one of us is among its infinite intermediate levels, all growing, all learning, all evolving: an eternity of memes and genes, coalescing, separating, always starting over, ever amazed and amazing.

At least that’s what the night sky, seen from a cloudless dessert somehere in the multiverse, whispers to me; or are those just echoes I hear.
