Interacting Echoes
If elemental particles reconfigure, at least enough so for us to perceive of them as reconfiguring, then mightn’t a similar phenomenon occur in metauniverse theory involving spin offs at every decision point so that the similarity of the spinoffs would be proximately consistent, deteriorating only over temporal and spatial distances? That is, a great many universes very similar to ours with changes more and more evident over time, but given eternity, resulting in total divergence.
