Just Wondering

Is time just a wave passing through a preexisting, perhaps a singular but eternal medium, or even a series of infinite waves passing through a singular but eternal medium, and our consciousness merely the resulting ripples?

Or in M Theory’s multiverse, are new fully formed media constantly created in infinite numbers, through which infinite numbers of waves pass causing infinite “us” ripples?

In any of those media, are we happy, decent, tolerant people, looking out for each other and for the common good and common welfare while simultaneously realizing our maximum individual potential? At least for a segment of the wave’s voyage?

Just wondering.
