Time, and Time Again
Time seems, to me, always has seemed, like a sea on which we navigate, but with a current from which deviation is almost impossible, “almost” being the key.
It seems as though to a limited extent we might play its surf, increasing or decreasing the speed at which we travel, although perhaps that’s mere illusion, though the illusion may be that it is not we who might affect those subtle changes.
Still, if sea it be, then although improbable at best, perhaps, assuming winds as well, we can tack from side to side and doing so, if patient (much patience being required), truly navigate, perhaps to the extent of somehow turning back fate’s clocks.
Oh what a journey that might be.
