Somewhere, Some When, and Woody Allen Too
You know, …
I’ve loved Woody Allen movies for a long time,
Sadly, … for both of us, … now measured in decades rather than mere years, even many years. And though I know he’s far from perfect, wouldn’t it be perfect if he were a Palestinian sympathizer?
“Bananas”, “Sleeper”, “Midnight in Paris”, … so many others.
And even the fact that he fell in love with his adopted step daughter. How romantic is that, … especially if one ignores feminist exigencies.
And romantic-artistic-intellectualism. Can it be more profoundly expressed, or, at least, … hinted at?
What could be better than that?
Somewhere, some when, there’s a woman who understands, and understands perfectly. Slender, with beautiful skin and long hair, and deep dark eyes, and an enigmatic soul reflected in her smile.
Someone who, even if we never meet, knows I exist and that I also know she’s somewhere, some when, and that we’re perfect, … at least for each other, … at least for an instant,
Could it be more perfect?
Well,
…. Yes,
We could, in fact, somehow, somewhere, some when, …. meet.
