Have an apple

And finally, fed up, the Woman had shouted to the Heavens and the Hells:

“Enough!!!  Enough of your mean and idiotic games with us as pieces in your morbid play!  Be gone, desist, disperse, disappear!

The Man, dumbfounded and afraid, had hidden his face in mortification and shame.

“What are you doing” he’d asked?  “What have you done?

“Calm down darling” she’d replied. 

“Have an apple.”
