Shiva and the Solstice:
A haiku of sorts in e flat minor

It strikes me that the two annual solstices would be particularly meaningful instants for the Hindu Divinity Shiva, lord of creation and destruction and hence of evolution, death and rebirth;

The Dancer dancing the dance of the mating of infinity and eternity.

Yesterday’s Yield: a haiku of sorts in e flat minor

I woke before the dawn, surprisingly refreshed and in a good mood after a tumultuous Monday.  I dislike conflict and stress but they’ve been with me as constant companions, if not exactly friends, and as often as not they’ve proved surprisingly productive.

I wonder what fruits yesterday will yield?

A chameleon, an embodied feedback loop, the person she wants?  Is that what I’m to be?  That would be terrible; … for both of us.  But it seems to be what we force on those we purport to love.

How sad.

A Depressing Haiku of Sorts in E Flat Minor

How does one end something that’s never really begun?  Perhaps that happens primarily in personal relationships.  I wonder how likely it is that I’ll find out?

If the question is asked admittedly the possibility exists.  Sad, … I think.
